We'd love our guests to embrace a refined, formal look for the day.
Ladies are asked to wear long dresses, and gentlemen are requested to wear suits (jackets and dress pants), with a tie optional.
We kindly ask guests to opt for block colours, avoiding overly patterned or bright colours.
Ladies, think deep and dark colours, or opt for pastels if a lighter colour is more your style (see the images for colour inspo).
For the gentlemen, we ask that bow ties are not worn.
Our ceremony and garden party will be held outdoors on the grass, so a thicker heel may be more comfortable. The reception will then move indoors for the evening.
Travel & Stay
We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy their time on the Gold Coast. You are very welcome to stay at any accommodation that suits you best.
To assist with your stay, we’ve included a selection of nearby accommodation options, along with exclusive rates for our guests. Please note that guest buses to and from the venue will depart from and return to the Star Casino.
We kindly ask guests to arrange their own transport to this pick-up point.

Guest FAQ
Can I bring my children?
While we adore your little ones, our preference is for this to be an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that children stay at home unless they have been specifically invited.
Consider it the perfect excuse for a well-deserved night to relax, celebrate and party with us.
I'm catching the bus, where should I go and when?
Guest buses to and from the venue will depart from, and return to, The Star Casino. Departure will be at 1:30pm, with arrival at The Valley Estate expected around 2:15pm.
At the conclusion of the evening, return coaches will transport guests back to The Star Casino.
Guests are also welcome to arrange their own transport if preferred.
What if I have dietary requirements?
We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements.
Please let us know any dietary requirements when submitting your RSVP so we can make the necessary arrangements.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. If you arrive after the ceremony has commenced, we may not be able to admit you until it has concluded.
Can I take my own photos during the wedding and post them online?
We will have a professional photographer and videographer documenting the formal moments throughout the day.
Because of this, we kindly ask that all phones are away and on silent during the ceremony. We'd love for everyone to be fully present and share that moment with us.
After the ceremony, please feel free to take photos during the garden party and reception - we'd love you to capture the fun!
To keep things running smoothly, formal photoshoots will be reserved for the newlyweds only, but our photographer will be there through the garden party and reception to capture plenty of candid moments with our favourite people.
